ABIDJAN ( IVORYCOAST): The post-election war of 2010, caused by the refusal of Alassane Ouattara to accept the verdict of the Constitutional Court declaring Gbagbo winner of the presidential election, has officially more than 3,000 dead. The main victims of this conflict that pitted government forces and pro-Ouattara forces and militias, are supporters of President Gbagbo who were systematically targeted for their political coloration. Proof, more than 1,000 civilians Wê in the West of IvoryCoast were massacred by the forces that fought for the current head of state, Alassane Ouattara. These poor defenseless people were executed under the watchful gaze of the United Nations Peace Forces (UNOCI ) and French Forces (Licorne), simply because they had voted for Laurent Gbagbo.

More than two years after the installation of Ouattara and while the international community is finally calling all sides to account the different actors of this post-election crisis, war criminals from Ouattata’s camp are still at large where more than 708 supporters of Gbagbo are languishing in prisons for imaginary and wacky accusations. Yet Ouattara swore, hand on heart, that all criminals will be brought to justice regardless of which side they belong. Alassane Ouattara and his regime are struggling, all day long, to deny the existence of "Winners Justice" responding consistently to all those who scold on this issue there will be no impunity. This profession of faith should logically result in the arrest of the perpetrators of the heinous crimes committed by Ouattara rebels turned into FRCI and its auxiliaries. Those directly or indirectly responsible for the massacre of supporters of President Gbagbo are listed by the ICC which has been waiting two years promised by the Ouattara regime to get things done together. But the reality is that in contrast to the openly propagandist discourse of the scheme. Ouattara cannot arrest its war leaders for at least one basic reason. The fate of these warlords is related to Mr. Ouattara. The objective of the armed rebellion as publicly revealed by one of its chief, namely Kone Zakaria, was to install Alassane Ouattara to power. The former warlord has even argued that the current President of IvoryCoast gave them money to buy weapons. If they are arrested, warlords can cause the current head of state in their fall by simply telling the judges they were under the command of him and that all these crimes were committed to achieve the initial goal . Clearly, a prospective trial of the rebellion can lead to a lawsuit of all of the Ouattara regime. It could also be the case of France Sarkozy, the UN and all those who come to arm the bloody rebellion in September 2002. Ouattara and his criminals will continue to tease their victims as long as they have the support of the international community.
